Scoor met AutoCAD 2013 - Score with AutoCAD 2013

Woensdag 6 juni vond in het Constant Vanden Stockstadion in Brussel de meeting "Scoor met AutoCAD 2013" plaats.
Een fijne CAD namiddag georganiseerd door Cadac Group.
Niemand minder dan Lynn Allen en Jean Pierre van Gastel waren de gastsprekers.
Na de interesante voorstelling van alle Cadac aktiviteiten was het de beurt aan Lynn Allen, "the queen of AutoCAD".
Tijdens deze inspirerende sessie van een uur besprak Lynn Allen de huidige trends in de wereld van design zoals duurzaam ontwerpen, de overstap van tekenen in 2D naar modeleren in 3D, reality capture en de kracht van cloud computing.
Op haar typisch Amerikaans enthousiaste manier rekende ze af met alle misvattingen die hierover heersen en hoe de nieuwste cloud technologie kan worden ingezet om uw ontwerpervaring te verbeteren.

Daarna was het de beurt aan Jean Pierre van Gastel.
Met enthousiasme en overtuigingskracht kregen we een real-time demo in 3ds Max Design 2013.
Aan de hand van een AutoCAD model demonstreerde hij een complete visualisatie workflow, waarbij fotorealistisch renderen en nieuwe render technieken gebaseerd op NVidia Iray renderer en QuickSilver uitgebreid aan bod kwamen.

Lynn Allen sloot af met 1 uur tips & tricks op haar unieke humoristische en enthousiaste presentatiestijl.

Last Wednesday 6th of June Cadac Group organised the meeting "Score with AutoCAD 2013" at the Constant Vanden Stock stadion in Brussels.
It was a nice CAD meeting with no one less than Lynn Allen and Jean Pierre van Gastel as the guest speakers.
After an intresting introduction of all Cadac activities, Lynn Allen "the queen of AutoCAD" took the word.
During this very inspiring session of one hour, Lynn Allen reviewed the current trends in the world of design as sustainable creating, the transition of drawing in 2D to 3D modeling, reality capture and the power of cloud computing.
On her own typical American way she refuted all excisting misconceptions regarding this and explained how the latest cloud technology can be applied to improve your drawing experience.
Jean Pierre van Gastel was next to gave us with enthusiasm and conviction a real-time demo in 3ds Max Design 2013. Using an AutoCAD model. He demonstrated a complete visualization workflow, using photo realistic rendering and where new rendering techniques based on NVidia Iray renderer and QuickSilver were thoroughly covered.
